BIOL 1B: Information and Evolution

The following chapters support BIOL 1B: Information and Evolution. In this course, we explore how the genetic blueprints encrypted in DNA and RNA are decoded into the structures that do the work of life, and examine how genetic information copied accurately and what happens when it’s not. We examine the forces that cause evolutionary change between generations and over time, and use changes in information over time to understand and map relationships between groups of living cells and organisms.
