Curriculum Vitae
As you know, your curriculum vitae (CV) allows reviewers to quickly navigate your accomplishments. Where you place or categorize and how you describe or annotate your open educational practices (OEP) should be strategically aligned with your institutional goals and accurately represent your contribution and impact. Below we offer suggestions and templates for categorizing and annotating your CV.
Categorize OEP
You may recall from our overview of RPT that Abbey K. Elder [Website] breaks down common elements of OER work across the areas of research, teaching, and service. We also include a fourth of awards and professional development for the purposes of documenting your OEP. Annotate Your CV
Now that you have your OEP categorized, Michael R. Dougherty recommends annotating your CV [Website] to deepen the understanding of your work’s impact and to ensure you are being your own best advocate. Your citation could include type of publication, date, reproducibility, role, and contribution, as seen below. But you should modify in accordance with your institutional guidance or situational preference. The key is to clearly articulate your contributions to a review committee who may not be familiar with open education.

We offer some suggested language, but there are many ways to describe your OEP beyond what is described below. Finally, use your disciplinary citation style and formatting that will best communicate your work to the RPT committee members.
