Questions Answered From the H5P Jam Session

Q:  How do you create a question bank in H5P?

A: H5P does not use question banks, but you can put more than one question or more than one question type (Example: true/false, matching, and multiple choice) in one H5P. There are several ways to do this. Here are 2 ideas:

    1. You could use the Course Presentation tool and put question on each slide.
    2. You could use the Quiz tool and add any number of different types of questions to the one Quiz.

Q: What does “originator” mean in roles for H5P metadata?

A:  For creating OER, you’ll likely want to use “Author”. “Originator” is likely used more in the corporate world.

Q: Does H5P do spell check?

A: It does not. H5P is a Sweden-based company and designed to be used globally, so there is no base/built in/default language.

Suggestion: To ensure spelling is correct, it would be best to type your questions, answers, and feedback in a Word or Google doc to catch spelling errors, and then copy/paste them into the H5P.
