In this chapter, we inch you up the trail to make your OER usable and discoverable. Each step (listed below) maps to a page in this chapter. After you have implemented the advice of your trusted reviewers and copyeditor, you will take your first strides toward implementing the OER in your course and making it discoverable to the greater community.

Before Undergoing Review and Copy Editing

• Design and upload your Pressbook cover.
• Choose the appropriate license and sharing permissions for your Pressbook.
• Set the authorship in your Pressbook.
• Craft your author profiles and positionality statements.
• Acknowledge your community of support.
• Share your land acknowledgement in your front matter (optional).
• Write an introduction for your Pressbook.
