You are well into your journey and stop to survey your terrain. As your eyes scan the horizon and follow the trail taken to where you stand today, you notice major landmarks and decisions that distinguish your journey to creating an OER. Your pack is loaded with OER basics, copyright knowledge, instructional design best practices, and more.

Pausing at the lookout to reflect invokes revision. In this section we revisit the major turning points in your OER authorship, asking you to reconsider key choices in light of your current advantage of hindsight. This is not a one-time stop. Rather, we invite you to frequently pause, reflect, and iterate on your work using the practices detailed here.
